I have been involved in motorsport since I was born and began racing Go Karts at 7 years old. Progressing through the ranks from Cadet 9, Cadet 12 onto Junior National. At age 14 we made the transition into cars after building a Hyundai Excel X3 Track Car and have raced in both the X3 series and the Track Attack Series with numerous podiums and wins. In October last year I had my first event at Mt Panorama Bathurst in the Toyota 86 support races – finishing 18th out of 32 in my first event in an 86 and first time at Bathurst.

In a recent announcement, Owen stated
"Im super excited to announce that Mineco will be joining us in 2023 as our naming rights partner, we look forward to a massive year with them and I cant wait to get underway for round 1 at Sydney Motorsport Park".

TGRA 86 is an exciting platform for talented drivers to demonstrate and develop their skills and shine on some of Australia’s best racing circuits. Every round, two invited professional drivers compete against a potential field of more than 35 ambitious race car drivers, who are also provided with a dedicated motorsport off-track mentor for each race weekend.
Like similar one-make series races, the TGRA 86 Series demands competitors adhere to a strict car setup, ensuring that the driver’s talent, rather than team budget, is key to winning glory.
With a tangible connection to our WEC, WRC and Dakar Rally teams, TGRA 86 delivers true racing grit and credibility.
